Though for a computer, is still just ones and zeros (on or off) states somewhere in the memory. Which makes some programming language interesting which do not have the generic types of data types.
But this is a good way to view it, as most programming languages tend to use these data types. And compartmentalizing date types in this way helps it to avoid errors. A lot of errors often happens when you’re not as strict.
